Change in Management at Polifibra Folien GmbH

As planned Andreas Spahn has taken over management responsibilities of Polifibra Folien GmbH from the corporations long-standing Manager Klaus Jorkowski on September 1, 2018. Since October of last year 42-year-old Andreas Spahn gained extensive insight into the operative business processes and corporate network in his role of Assistant to Management. The handover, such prepared, turns over a new leaf in the history of the foil company in Limburg and is to meet the new needs of the industry.

"The groundwork is done"

Klaus Jorkowski, co-founder of Polifibra Folien GmbH and long-standing Manager, perceives this to be the right time to turn over corporate management. "Now, after having successfully managed the spin-off from the former parent company, is the right time for a change. New market challenges should be handled by a new team with new ideas. The groundwork is done, now the newcomers can cultivate it", says 67-year-old Jorkowski - who places great trust in his successor. During the transition period, until the end of the year, Klaus Jorkowski will lend his support and will then assume an advisory role behind the scenes.
"Mr Jorkowski has been working for Polifibra for more than 35 years and has made the company what it is today. We are very happy that he will continue to support Polifibra providing expertise and Know-How", says Andreas Spahn about his departing predecessor.

A breath of fresh air and new ideas

With Andreas Spahn Polifibra now has a real sales specialist in top management. According to Spahn he intends to "significantly expand corporate sales, provide fresh impetuses and to greatly intensify export, both in Europe and around the globe." He also does not shy away from new investments to accommodate extended requirements and changes in the Industry regarding subjects such as renewable energies or e-mobility.
Andreas Spahn is fully prepared and equipped for the responsible role at Polifibra Folien GmbH. After completion of the General Higher Education Entrance Qualification he trained to become an Industrial Clerk. At that time, he says, he "quickly discovered his passion for sales". During the past years of his career he assumed different sales positions in which he built new departments in different companies and continuously added to his knowledge by attending numerous sales trainings, completing a course of studies to become a Master of Business Administration and passing a course of further education which made him a Project Manager.
