Technological Upgrade: Polifibra Upgrades Rewinding Machine

01.09.2025 - Ideally, at a stand still – but when needed, it will now work better than ever. Polifibra Folien GmbH’s rewinding machine has been extensively modernized and is now primed for a multitude of requirements.

Instead of buying a new system, Polifibra decided on a smarter, more cost-effective solution: upgrading existing machinery. Equipped with new motors, a completely overhauled control system and specifically programmed software, it represents another technological advancement at Polifibra. Now the machine can handle a much greater variety of materials and wider widths. When rewinding, coils are wound more neatly, adjusted more flexibly so that they are ideally prepared for further processing.

The rewinding machine remains a backup. It is only used if there are issues in production. This upgrade highlights Polifibra’s commitment to quality assurance, vision and technological expertise.
