Polifibra awarded with REMONDIS Sustainability Certificate 2025

30.03.2026 - For the year of 2025 Polifibra Folien GmbH was once more rewarded with the recognised Sustainability Certificate by REMONDIS, again validating its responsible use of resources. The current operating figures show considerable improvement compared to previous years.

In 2025, Polifibra saved a total of 7.3 t of fossil resources (oil equivalent), 0.2 t of metals (copper equivalent) and 5.5 t of biogenic resources (wood equivalent). In addition, energy usage was cut by 133 MWh, which is equivalent to the yearly energy consumption of roughly eight typical German households.

The savings of CO₂ in 2025 total 7.3 t of CO₂ equivalent, which equates to the emissions of a car after having driven 45,000 kilometres. These figures highlight the sustainable and forward-thinking approach of the Limburg-based film specialist yet again.

The REMONDIS certificate assesses waste and resource management as well as energy consumption and emissions on the basis of a scientific model in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14040.
