Plasma Process
In traditional film treatment, chemical processes are always used, which provide excellent results but also have considerable disadvantages. These processes generate chemical by-products and require an enormous amount of energy due to the necessary drying phases. The innovative plasma treatment of films offers an environmentally friendly and economical alternative.
The plasma process is possible for various types of film such as PP, PE, PA, PI or PET and works exclusively with gaseous components (e.g. industrial-grade nitrogen). This means that no chemical by-products are produced, making the process not only more sustainable but also safer. In addition, the entire treatment environment can be controlled, which guarantees consistently high quality and reproducible results.
Another advantage of plasma treatment is its efficiency. As no complex thermal processes are required, energy consumption is significantly reduced. At the same time, the surface of the treated film remains undamaged, while the improved properties - such as long-lasting adhesion - are retained. The technology also enables customisation for specific areas of application and therefore offers maximum flexibility.
With plasma treatment, Polifibra is setting a new standard in film processing that harmonises ecology and economy. This technology fulfils both our own requirements in terms of quality and sustainability and those of our customers.
The
PoliNan H
product range for nano-coatings on plastic films enables improved surface adhesion. The strength of adhesion can be customized as required and the coating can be applied to one or both sides. It is transparent and does not affect the appearance of the base film.
PoliNan is used for coating with adhesives of various types, whereby the adhesives should have particularly good adhesion to the base film. These can be water-soluble adhesives or adhesives containing solvents. PoliNan is also used for coating with resins.
The product
PoliNan H
improves the printability of various types of film such as PP, PE, PA, PI or PET. Appropriately pre-treated PoliNan films also achieve significantly better adhesion when laminating composite films. PoliNan is also used as a base film for printed antennas and RFID chips, for example.
