Heiko Schneider has been Polifibra Folien GmbHs “Guardian of the Quality-Galaxy” since July 1, 2021. The trained Quality Manager (QMF, QMB, QMA), who can look back on years of experience in the field of quality in the automotive and medical technology sector, keenly spots every single glitch as far as quality management of the Limburg-based film specialist goes. With his well-trained eye, he checks orders and production processes to meet the highest of quality standards – both in-house for Polifibra and externally for customers.

The main task of the quality manager, originating from the Taunus area, is concurrent inspection during production. “Tasks in this area are interesting, diverse and demanding.” Heiko Schneider examines both the production processes and the products themselves. “Five to ten parameters are randomly tested in regard to each order. That includes composition, material, width, thickness, tensile strength and mechanical properties of the films,” says the 52-year-old. With Polifibra’s new plasma production processes another field of activity will soon be his for the managing. Every single testing process is meticulously documented, and along with that test certificates and technical data sheets are drawn up. Also part of the duties of this pleasant as well as conscientious quality auditor is the monitoring of inspection equipment and compliance with legal provisions. Heiko Schneider feels totally comfortable at Polifibra Folien GmbH. In his words he describes it as “very pleasant working conditions” and a “great working atmosphere”.
